Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the access, use, and participation in the Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) process facilitated through DCR India, an awareness and information initiative by Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd. (ICPL).

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Authority” refers to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
  • “DCR” means Digital Connectivity Rating as defined under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024.
  • “DCRA” means Digital Connectivity Rating Agency empanelled by TRAI.
  • “ICPL” refers to Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd., a TRAI-registered DCRA.
  • “Property Manager” means the authorised representative responsible for managing and applying for DCR of a property.

2. Regulatory Framework

The Digital Connectivity Rating framework is mandated, governed, and regulated by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024, along with applicable guidelines, directions, and orders issued by the Authority.

ICPL operates strictly within the scope of this regulatory framework and does not alter, amend, or override any provisions prescribed by TRAI.

3. Role and अधिकार of ICPL

As a TRAI-registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agency (DCRA), ICPL holds the right to:

  • Conduct Digital Connectivity Ratings in accordance with the prescribed framework.
  • Perform document review, on-site assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • Assign scores and issue Digital Connectivity Rating certificates based on findings.
  • Publish rating outcomes on authorised platforms as required.

All assessments and ratings issued by ICPL are subject to compliance with TRAI regulations and oversight mechanisms.

4. Applicability of Guidelines

The Property Manager agrees that the Digital Connectivity Rating shall be governed by the guidelines and criteria applicable at the time of assessment and during the validity period of the issued rating certificate, as prescribed by the Authority.

Any updates, amendments, or directions issued by TRAI shall be applicable as per regulatory provisions.

5. Obligations of Property Manager

The Property Manager is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and verifiable information and documents.
  • Facilitating site access and cooperation during assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable technical and operational requirements.

6. Fees and Payments

Fees for Digital Connectivity Rating shall be charged as per the published fee structure of ICPL, aligned with TRAI guidelines, and mutually agreed with the Property Manager. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

7. Limitation of Liability

ICPL shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from reliance on the Digital Connectivity Rating, except as required under applicable law or regulatory directions.

8. Intellectual Property

All reports, methodologies, documentation, and assessment tools used by ICPL are the intellectual property of ICPL and/or TRAI, as applicable, and shall not be reproduced or misused without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts as per applicable law.
